| Broadway Phil and the Shouters rock the house
The Shouters sharpened their bite through countless
smoky nights, honing a groove that a band earns only
through time. Beginning in 1994, the Shouters’ long run
has included stints with Huey Lewis, Dave Mason,
Robben Ford, Little Charlie and the Night Kats,
Curtis Salgado, Roomful of Blues, Paul Delay, Roy Rogers,
Lloyd Jones and others. Broadway Phil and the Shouters
have two album credits: “Rock Bottom” (1996, sold out)
and “Rhythm and Dues” (2002). Cuts from these albums have
received radio play from the West Coast to Prague. A third
project, “Shout Back,” is in production now.
Broadway Phil's harmonica and vocals are backed by veteran
Shouters: Gary Davis, bass, Jake Thompson, guitar, Dave Day,
guitar, and the original Shouter, Dave Mathieu, on drums.
Roots never rocked so hard.
